Looking at the current textile consumption market in China, the security issue has always been a key factor restricting the development of the industry and the upgrading of consumption.

At the beginning of the year, the Guangzhou Consumer Council conducted a comparative test on children and infant clothing sold in the market. The samples were purchased in major shopping malls and supermarkets, involving high, medium and low grade children and infant clothing, and commissioned Guangzhou fiber product testing. The hospital conducts tests. Of the 50 batches, 37 batches of children's clothing and 13 batches of infant clothing. After inspection, there were 28 batches of samples that were in full compliance with the standard requirements, and the compliance rate was 56%. According to the classification, the compliance rate of children's clothing is only 51.35%, and the compliance rate of infant clothing is only 69.23%. Among them, the main non-compliance items are formaldehyde and other harmful chemical substances exceeding the standard, and the fiber content is not marked.

On August 28, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, according to the requirements of the National Textile Products Basic Safety Technical Specification GB18401-2010 and the corresponding product standards, the fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable carcinogenicity of sportswear and knitted swimwear products. 10 3 items of aromatic amine dyes, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to dry rubbing, color fastness to washing, color fastness to sea water, color fastness to chlorinated water (pool water) Tested. A total of 148 sportswear and knitted swimwear products produced by 148 enterprises in 9 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government were sampled, of which 6 batches were unqualified. The main unqualified items are pH value, fiber content, and color fastness to perspiration.

According to the "Daily Economic News" report, Greenpeace's latest survey report found that 20 fashion brands in the world use toxic substances such as nonylphenol ethoxylate in the production process, including 20 brands. International brands such as Armani and Victoria's Secret (Victoria's Secret) also include Vancl (Vanke Eslite) brands in the Mainland.

According to Taiwan’s today’s news report, according to the latest survey conducted by an organization, there are 20 fashion apparel brands in the world that have been found to contain toxic chemicals and plasticizers, including internationally renowned brands such as Armani\Mango\CalvinKlein. Two garments of the ZARA and Levi's brands were found to be suspected carcinogens "specific aromatic amines".

It can be seen from the above incidents that the current safety situation of the textile industry is worrying. Textile safety is a complete chain from the dyeing factory to the manufacturer, to the seller, and finally to the consumer. To ensure the safety of the consumer, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the entire supply chain, from upstream to downstream. Every company involved in it must take responsibility for it. It is impossible to cover all the supply chain security information by the state alone. Therefore, some non-standard and unsafe textile products will flow into the market, posing a threat to consumers' health and also damaging consumption. Confidence in domestic textiles has become an important factor constraining the development of our textile industry.

To truly ensure the safety of textiles, it is not only necessary to integrate the power of the entire supply chain, but also to coordinate the participation of the whole society. It is very difficult for any enterprise to ensure the safety of its products only from its own point of view. In order to build a management system that can guarantee the safety of domestic textile products, China Textile has gathered the wisdom of many experts from industry organizations, enterprises, universities and third-party testing institutions, and finally established quality management and credit management in the supply chain. As the whitelist management system of core content, this model will improve the level of textile safety management in the whole industry and promote the faster and better development of China's textile industry. The "white list" was born in time and came into being. It is worth mentioning that the system was recognized by the Japanese market at the beginning of its establishment and became the product safety management system accepted by the international market in China's textile industry.

With the announcement of the third batch of white-listed enterprises of China Textile Association, the current whitelist management system already contains nearly 100 excellent textile enterprises and suppliers. In the field of product safety, the continuous accumulation of excellent enterprises and the continuous accumulation of positive energy, The continuous transparency of information has turned every ordinary consumer into a bright-eyed Sun Wukong, making the “good companies” and “bad companies” on the market clear, and “bad companies” and “bad products” are invisible. In the sense, the release of the third batch of white-listed enterprises can be described as a milestone event in the field of textile safety construction in China.

Since the launch of the whitelist management system, it has been increasingly recognized by enterprises. The Whitelist Expert Committee, which includes product safety experts in the industry, has strictly checked the audit and invested a high degree of responsibility in this work. In the process of declaration, by familiar with the specific requirements of the whitelist management system for chemical management, the management level of the enterprise has also been improved, and the awareness of safety management of enterprise managers has been greatly enhanced. With the increasing number of enterprises joining the whitelist management system, China's textile safety factor will be further improved.
